Greetings and Felicitations, fellow BIYFers!

As part of the increasingly and ridiculously grandiose preparations for BIYF X: Seriously, Ten Years?, the Bricker and I (with the aid of our lovely and talented spouses) are preparing a spectacular multi-media presentation that will take us all on a spellbinding, funny-bone tickling, spine tingling, endorphin stimulating rollercoaster ride of nostalgia. (There, have I oversold it, Jim?)

But we need your help!

What we're looking for is your Top Ten BIYF Moments for BIYF X.

What makes a BIYF Moment (or eBIYFany, to use my preferred term), you may ask?

Well, whatever you want it to be! Certainly we all recall moments from the various movies we've watched that stick with us. The apparent suit of hair beneath the suit of feathers in Barbarella. Wolves shot from cannons. Shatner raps. "Always agree."

But there are other moments too. Personal ones. (Cue strings) Craig's declaration that 1993 was the Best BIYF ever. Orson Welles Trail Mix. I know Jim still hasn't gotten over that turtle that peed, while I still fondly recall wrestling him into his own lawn without provocation.

Results will be tabulated by distinguished panel and announced by the mind-blowing presentation mentioned above.

So get us a list! You have until 5:00 PM Friday (3/16/07). This Friday! The standard "nag your spouse" addendum applies.

First off, a big shout out to NOTE for being the "first responder." She is an inspiration for us all.

Second, a quick reminder that this reindeer game works best if you follow Ruth's lead and reply only to Jim and Dave. Unlike the movie brackets, this is a blind taste test and we wouldn't want you answers to influence others. That being said, vote early and often for the peeing turtle: "Best BIYF Moment Ever™."

Finally, a reminder to bug your spouse. His/her list is due in a few days and with the exception of Zardoz, your spouse hasn't yet responded. I'm talking to YOU, Malla. (And myself of course.)

...If you didn't email Dave & Jim with your Top Ten BIYF Moments list by the deadline, it may not be too late. It can't hurt to send it anyway just in case. These guys do great work, so send them your favorite BIYF Moments now!
