Movie Voting is back for 2007 in a new and different form that really doesn't have anything to do with the movies we'll be watching at this year's Festival. It's safer that way. Read on to learn more...

Crown the "Ultimate BIYF Movie" Champion

It's BIYF's own version of March Madness! Each week from the beginning of March to the BIYF X Festival you'll vote on head-to-head match-ups selected from our "previously viewed" library in an effort to determine which one is worthy of the title "Ultimate BIYF Movie." You'll have to decide for yourself what criteria the "Ultimate BIYF Movie" must meet and pick the winner of each match-up accordingly.

Voting:
The match-ups for the week will be announced each Monday and your votes must be cast by the end of the day on the Thursday of the same week. Voting and notification will be handled by email. Just reply to Zardoz's notes to vote. Zardoz will always vote first to avoid the temptation to sway the outcome at the last minute. Zardoz will also always vote privately to maintain at least a little mystery regarding the final outcome of each round of voting. Only one ballot per person, per week.

Proxy Voting:
Spouses may proxy-vote for their partners, but in the event of a proxy vote vs. actual-response-from-the-spouse vote conflict, only the actual spouse vote will be counted. Be sure to differentiate your spouse's votes from your own when proxy-voting. Proxy Voting is not allowed in Sudden Death Overtime Voting.

Results:
Results will be announced here each Friday with the exception of the Championship Match results which will be revealed during the BIYF Festival.

Overtime:
In the event of a tie, there will be one round of Overtime Voting with a response deadline of midnight on the Friday night following the vote. In the event of an Overtime tie, a Sudden Death Overtime Vote will be held on Saturday where the first contestant to receive three votes will be declared the winner. In the interest of fair play, Zardoz will not vote in Sudden Death Overtime Voting. However (in the interest of self-preservation), NOTE will be welcome to cast a vote along with everyone else. Proxy Votes will not be allowed in Sudden Death Overtime Voting.

• Second Round - Weeks of April 2, 9, 16, 23
• Semi-Finals - Weeks of April 30, May 7
• Final Four - Week of May 14
• Championship Match - Decided by Secret Monkey Ballot™ at BIYF X
