This just in: Tactical Nuclear Penguin The 32% ABV beer from Scotland's BrewDog brewery) is set to hit our shores. Only 400 bottles though- and only in NYC and California. Bastards.

These are the same craze highlanders who came up with Sink the Bismark, currently holding the world's strongest beer at 41% ABV.

We wants it, my precious.

If you liked (or even saw) the 7-part takedown of Phantom Menace... well, it's time to tear apart Attack Of The Clones- but this is movie turns out to be 25% worse than the last one. Or at least it takes 18 minute more to tear it apart.

Automatic Weapons- Better With Bacon

As you probably know- I am among those who will be storming other people's Well Stocked Compounds when civilization finally takes a dive.

But it's good to know that while I'm being riddled with shells along with the rest of the rampaging horde- my last knowledge of this earth just might be the sweet, sweet smell of bacon cooking on the barrel of the gun that's doing me in.

Of course, I won't get to eat any of it- so that will suck.

Update from the Beer Czar

To keep the rabble at bay, I will periodically tell you things about the beers I'm brewing for this year's festival. The content of these notices, as well as their frequency will be arbitrary and entirely subject to my whim. Don't get cocky, kid!

So here's the status today:
Done: Jamil's Evil Twin- the hops on this thing might just split your pallet in half. Watch yourselves.

Done: Scottish 60/- A pleasant, lower-alcohol "session beer". Got a taste of this one, and I'm very excited.

In The fermenter: Bavarian "Drag Me To" Helles. This one will be a close race to the finish, but it should be ready. A typical German lager- hopefully with less butterscotch than last time.

Still to come- I think I can squeeze in one more batch of Breakfast Stout before time runs out.

The World Loves/Hates BIYF

Apparently we've really kicked something off here- everyone wants to bask in the reflected glory that is BIYF.

First Christopher Mihm decides on his own to host a pre-party, and now Paul and Storm (and Will Wheaton and others) decide to have the After-party.

Guys- we need to work on the schedule here! If we're going to take over a whole month, we really need to make sure Bricker and Malla have more pancake mix!

Not sure which is my favorite part of this video. I'm torn between the married guy dressed as Princess Leia, the "M-Falcon", or just the fact that someone took the time to make this. You be the judge. Loved the tag line, "Star Wars + Anything = Comedy."
