Yes, I've been gone a while. Will try to be better. So here's what I've got:

If you're like me you totally fell in love with Sally Sparrow when you first saw Blink, officially the Second-Best Doctor Who Episode Ever.

Did you know that she is currently nominated for a Best Actress Oscar?

I have to admit that I did not recognize her in the role (must be the dark hair). Thanks, IMDB!

Seriously, you should see it. It's a great film.

SO apparently it's illegal to brew beer in your basement, or in a room used for any other purpose in Minnesota. Who knew? Certainly not me.

But I'll plead the 5th on whether that is relevant to me.

But apparently I've been breaking the law every time I go to Iowa with a duck on my head or eat a hamburger in St Cloud on Sunday... and some of the other dumb laws will not be discussed. No office- that's not a chicken... why?

Nope- just sad, hopefully not TOO sad.

Andrew Koenig, son of Walter- has gone missing in Vancouver.

Last seen Feb 14, and his family is very concerned.


Hang in there Walter- we're all hoping this turns out well!

IMPORTANT NEWS:
It has come to this intrepid surfer's attention that St Euphoria films- he purveyors of such fine cinematic fare as Cave Women On Mars and The Monster Of Phantom Lake will be hosting the premier of Christopher Mims' latest celluloid masterpiece- Destination: Outer Space on Tuesday, May 25.

A little early for BIYF, and therefore problematic for the out-of-towners, but it does happen to fall on a date that should be familiar.

Plus it seems like a nice warm-up.

Wow... just wow. I think the Collective needs to become a hired consulting group for the channel previously known as SciFi. Seriously, give us an hour and our combined knowledge of crappy genre TV and film and we'll spit out enough ideas to last them through the last Saturday of the century.
