Judgement Day

Posted by Zardoz on Thu, Feb 4th 2010, 11:00 am

. Hmm.. Cars that inexplicably accelerate and crash into something causing the system reset thus leaving no evidence. Does anyone else think this seems a lot like Skynet covertly testing the waters for a global takeover?

Just one more thing...

Posted by Starbuck on Fri, Jan 1st 2010, 11:24 am

. As we ring out the 'Aughts, it has come to my attention there is one level of indulgence and culinary depravity that - to my knowledge- the collective has never undertaken: the Turducken.

But now it seems that even this is not the top/bottom of the heap. What more can a person do, you ask? How much more decadence can one dish take?

Simple- wrap it in bacon. Or to be more precise: stuff that Turducken inside a boneless pig! Viola: Fowl De Cochon!

Only problem I can see- feeds 50-60 folks. Better get out the address book for this one!

Beer = Civilization

Posted by Starbuck on Fri, Dec 25th 2009, 1:17 pm

. "You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer."

-Frank Zappa

Turns out he wasn't kidding- it looks like you can't do much of anything without beer- even invent the wheel. Yay, beer

Wheel inside a wheel

Posted by Bricker on Wed, Dec 23rd 2009, 10:53 pm

. So I know this guy named Garrick and he is the kind of guy you'd think might match up with the BIYF and then I stumble across his tribute/fan video of Shop Vac.

So for all you JoCos out there, I humbly submit this link:

http://garrickvanburen.com/archive/shop-vac-in-the-suburbs-music-video

And introduce you to the world of Garrick which is a fontrific place of joy and enlightenment.

Warm regards,

BRQ

Sir, Yes Sir

Posted by Zardoz on Mon, Dec 21st 2009, 11:28 am

. Riker had better not forget the "Sir" now, since Jean-Luc (aka Patrick Stewart) is receiving a knighthood in the near future.
